The Cathedral of All Saints
Pioneer Cathedral of the Episcopal Church
The Cathedral of All Saints has a rich history, both in its worship life and ministry and in its architecture. The building is considered the “Pioneer Cathedral” because it was the first large scale church in the Episcopal Church to be built specifically to serve as a Cathedral. It was also the first Episcopal cathedral in the US to be based on the English model of church, convent, school, and hospital. The Cathedral history reaches back to the nineteenth century, while the architecture hearkens to the middle ages. Please explore our Cathedral on the pages listed at the left, or better still, explore it in person!
