Bible Symposium 2012

Please join noted Theologian and Lecturer Douglas Stuart for a day of exploring the Scriptures. Dr. Stuart is a scholar of the Old Testament, Assyrian and Babylonian languages and literature, and the cultures of the ancient Near East. He is versed in the use of 14 different languages, both ancient and modern. Dr. Stuart’s topic will include material from a work he co-authored, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth as well as providing time for those who attend to actually apply these Bible reading techniques to the Scriptures.
The Symposium is being held on Saturday, September 22nd from 9:30 to 2:30. Doors open at 8:30 am. Morning coffee and lunch is provided. Ample parking is available on Saturday at the Cathedral. Cost is $20.00 with pre-registration and $25.00 the day of the event. Pre-registration helps with planning food, seating, and is highly recommended.
